The primary goal of my Master’s project was to look at the influence of androgen receptor overexpression on sex differences in the mouse brain. We investigated 3 main sexual dimorphisms in the brain. While the project is still in the works, preliminary studies show that androgen receptor overexpression results in the sexually dimorphic nucleus in females looking more male-typical, while the others were unaffected.
